The best type of marketing that is guaranteed to get you the desired results is the word-of-mouth marketing. This stands especially true for startups who are just getting their feet wet. Your followers talk about your brand in their social circle and then those people, in turn, talk in their social circle and the process continues on.

This is the best way to increase your brand awareness. The good news is that most of the brands now have a social media marketing campaign that includes multiple social media platforms. Provide good quality products and services while also leaving them satisfied with excellent customer care services. Really, good customer service can sometimes overshadow crappy products. It really happens.

For example, when someone asks me for suggestions about a certain product, I usually suggest them the ones with the best customer service. I expect it stands true for other people as well. So, the key to getting your customers to suggest your products is, in my opinion, having great customer relationships and providing the best customer care service.

2- Offer Rewards:

If your customers are happy but not happy enough to spread word about you, you can always offer rewards. This is great for giving your customers that final push they need. Offer exciting gifts and special coupons for those customers who spread word about your brand on their social channels.

You need to realize that if you want something, you need to give something in return as well. That’s the way things usually works. You pay for social ads, right? This works the same way.

3- Give Them Loyalty Bonuses:

Doing this ensures that your customers stay with you for long run. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Here’s how it works. Your customers buy something from you, you offer them discounts based on how long they have been doing business with you. The more loyal they are, the more discounts and bonuses they get.

This is a great way to get your customers to spread word about your brand because people love to show off. They tell their friends and family how they get special exciting discounts and gifts from your brand. This will encourage more people to use your products and services as well.

4- Ask For Feedback and Then Implement those Changes:

Asking for feedback from your customers is always a great idea. According to a research, 64% of customers give constructive feedback. That’s a huge statistic and you can’t ignore it. Take advantage of it because your brand caters to these people’s needs. If they don’t like what they are getting then what’s the point?

So, ask their feedback and take note of their suggestions. Then you need to make sure that you make those changes. Once the customers see that you noticed their suggestions and acted on them, they will be loyal to you for a long time. Not only will they be loyal to you, they will also spread word about you and encourage their friends and family to use your products or services as well.

All of these ways are tried and true methods of building strong customer relationships that last a long time and also help you in increasing your brand awareness. And we all know that brand awareness is the first goal of a good social media marketing strategy.
